Eyesite Newport Coast Opens

This blog seems to have been the last thing on my mind over the last three months as I have furiously prepared the opening of our Newport Coast office.

We have achieved what we set out to do; create the most beautiful optometric office in the land. The Newport location is a masterpiece. Designed by an architect who doesn’t believe in straight walls or traditional squared off styles. His use of curves and angles, creates interest and excitement; a sense of exploration as an individual flows through the space and experiences it.

Our cabinets and walls were hand created with African Mahagany by an Argentinian craftsman and stained by an artist more particular than the soup nazi from Seinfeld. Glass and hardware are also top of the line, even the hinges and locks are chromed and polished to perfection. Granite countertops and stone floors, sinks and hardware were all selected using only the finest quality materials. The office boasts computer controlled highly energy efficient LED lighting which fills the area with colors and effects never before experienced in an optometric, or medical practice.

I love the space we created for kids to hang out in. It has movies playing, bean bag chairs and a private “cave-like” feel to it. Kids can plop down in a bean bag while their parents look at our fantastic collection of designer eyewear, or they too cans select eyewear from our kids glasses displayed inside the space.

We filled the office with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment with new technologies for glaucoma evaluation and retinal imaging. Our ability to provide the best computer assisted eye exams contributes to unparralled acuracy of optics through lenses or contact lenses. In plain words-vision is clearer than ever before.

Combine all this with the best eyewear collection in the area, and I mean a large area, and you have the finest optometric practice period. There is nothing comparable.

Patients are always asking which office I will be working out of, or my father for that matter. We have decided to split it up evenly. We both will be travelling between both offices and dividing the time up equally. Our Cerritos practice is still the “mother ship” as we have a built a large and dedicated patient base over the past 16 years. We so enjoy watching these families grow and age with us, we will not be leaving.
